I have never played World of Warcraft but I have always been a fan of their art, and especially their beautiful trailers. I have been working on WOW fan art, here is my base sculpt for Blackhand created in Zbrush . Any comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.
Here is the final render for the Sasquatch, it was rendered Maya using VRay.
I started working on a bust of the Sasquatch it is based on the Sasquatch done by Marc Silvestri for Marvel comics.
Here is the reference.
Here is the retop for the crabdozer, I tried to stay close to the polycount limit of the next gen console games. It current polycount is 21,090 tris. I used topogun and Maya to retopologize it. I will now move on to UV mapping the crabdozer.
Here are the finished sculpts for the Ben 10 Omniverse Fan Art collaboration project that I am doing with my brother Pablo Hurtado. I finished the collar, resculpted the middle leg, and adjusted the size of the head and horn. I will now move on to retoping the crabdozer.
I have not posted in a while but here is the finished bust of Luol Deng. I retopologized it in Topogun and UV Mapped it in UV Layout Pro. I baked the maps in Xnormal, and textured it using a combination of Zbrush and Photoshop. I rendered it using Vray, and made some post process work in Photoshop. I tried to give the final presentation a similar look to a basketball card.
I have not had much free time theses last few months so I decided to take a little break from the Ben 10 fan art and do a small project to showcase my new skills. I did a bust of Luol Deng, I was a big fan of him when he used to play for the Chicago Bulls. I will eventully retopologize it, texture it, and render it in VRay.
Here is an update on the Ben 10 Omniverse Fan Art collaboration project that I am doing with my brother Pablo Hurtado. We are really busy so we work on it a little bit when we have some free time. I sculpted all of the details of the shell armor of the Crabdozer. I tried to give it a crab look, so it would look more realistic. I also sculpted the wrinkles in the parts that have the exposed skin. I will now move on to the collar, I will now get a chance to do some hard surface sculpting, this should be fun.
This is my second quick sculpt of a disney character, I am trying to improve my speed. I learned a lot doing Lilo, she was a little tougher than Lumiere. It was sculpted in Zbrush, and composited is photoshop.
I grew up watching a lot of the disney films, so I wanted to do a quick sculpt of one of my favorite characters, Lumiere from the Beauty and the Beast. This was done in Zbrush, and composited in photoshop. This was really fun cant wait to do another one.
